In an interview with Lucasfilm editor Bonnie Burton, our new pals over at the massive Star Wars site Galactic Binder unearthed a gem in fanboy crafting — an adorable crocheted R2-D2 plush toy!

This fan-made Amigurumi R2-D2 doll was first picked up by the official Star Wars blog from a feature at CodeRetard, which contains several photos of the little R2.

This is a one-of-a-kind creation, unfortunately, because I know I want one. Bravo to the craftspeople on this one!.....
