Linda Doyle, owner of Dragonfly Fabrics in Ottawa, says quilting is as popular now as it's ever been, with even younger people and men picking up the craft.
Elaine Quehl never thought she'd become an international quilt artist. For the longest time, the 47-year-old former office administrator couldn't even whisper the word, despite the accolades and awards she earned for her quilts.
When an art gallery used one of her quilts on the cover of its summer brochure, she conceded it was time to accept the recognition.
