Exmouth Ceramic Group to opening new community pottery

THE Exmouth Ceramic Group will next week celebrate the opening of its new community pottery.

The group has been running for more than 35 years and is based in a new workshop in Meeting Street.

The ceramic group's 50 members will on May 28 mark the opening of its new studio, which is being run in partnership with the charity Rethink.

Internationally-acclaimed potter Tim Andrews, from Woodbury, will officially open the new studio.

The cash raised to fund the new studio was raised thanks to sponsors and also private individuals.

The group also raised funds by organising a sponsored walk and autumn fair......
