A decade of quilting

Woodstock Quilt Guild members, from left, Marg Caldwell, Terry Dickinson and Bonnie Sproull put the finishing touches on a quilt for this weekend's show at Connell House. This quilt consists of 12 blocks, one for each month, made by Sproull last year as part of a Guild activity.
Quilters and quilt lovers will descend on Connell House in Woodstock this weekend, as they celebrate the tenth anniversary of the Woodstock Quilt Guild.
The guild was formed in 1999 when a handful of quilting enthusiasts got together.
Since then, the group has grown to over 70 members.
They meet monthly to encourage and promote quilting.
The two-day event at Connell House, themed A Decade of Quilting Memories, will showcase dozens of projects crafted over the last 10 years, either as club projects or individual works. Also featured will be antique quilts, dolls, purses, bags and bead work.......
