It's billed as the biggest bead and jewelry show in the world - and who wants to argue that point?

The 2009 Bead & Button Show at downtown's Midwest Airlines Center brings together more than 370 vendors from all over the world. They'll set up shop in the Bead and Jewelry Marketplace, offering beads of every description.

The show opens to the public on Friday and runs through Sunday. Admission is $10. Children younger than 12 get in free.

The show is put on by Bead & Button magazine and its publisher, Kalmbach Publishing of Waukesha.
