'Quilts of Valor' to visit quilt museum Tuesday
Eighty-five quilts made by volunteers from Nebraska and neighboring states will become Quilts of Valor Tuesday.
The quilts will be displayed in Lincoln Tuesday afternoon, then added to a collection being gathered for Marine and Navy corpsmen returning to Camp Lejeune, N.C., from the war in Afghanistan.
The quilts will be displayed 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s International Quilt Study Center and Museum, 1523 N. 33rd St. Admission to the quilt center is $5 for adults, $3 for 5- through 18-year-olds and free those children under 5......
