Lanai Public & School Library will celebrate the 2009 HSPLS Children's Summer Reading Program by offering "The Folk Art of Chinese Paper Cutting," a free hands-on lecture-demonstration, on Thursday, July 2 at 11:30 a.m.

Instructor Barbara Chung Ho will share a brief history of the folk art, and then present a step-by-step demonstration on the basic techniques of Chinese Paper Cutting. Children will have the opportunity to learn how to do some paper cutting. Supplies will be provided......
