QUILT CARE

Even though some art quilts are stitched, you should never wash one. Hang it in a spot where it won’t become soiled or damaged by sunlight. For most traditional quilts, it is best to hand-wash with a solution designed for quilts. Store quilts in a cotton bag or pillow case.

BE BOLD

Quilting and home decor fabric colors have gone bold and bright, with sophisticated prints and color combinations like red and cream, brown and turquoise or citron green and black. Black adds a nice punch, but gray is the hottest neutral in fabric design.
