The Knitting Guild Association(TKGA) and Arizona Guilds
As knitting progresses, knitters find that they have acquired many new skills, techniques and stitch patterns. Knitting is a forever learning fiber art form that gives knitters a continuous desire to strive to create new and fresh designs, to share new tips and ideas with others, to develop into a fiber artist in their on right. As a knitter, you soon become an expert, an instructor and the person in the know at your local yarn shop. A very important way to become even more "in the know" is by gaining a "Master Knitters" certification through The Knitting Guild Association. Arenda Holladay, co-chair of the Master Hand Knitting Committee, has written a very insightful article regarding the Master Hand Knitting Program, "On Your Way to the Masters: By Hand!" This program is given in three levels and you progress at your own pace.....
