(7/07/2009) By Dennis Kellogg - Little girls have loved to play with Barbie dolls for decades. Some of them never outgrow that pasttime. And that is the case for one such woman in Holdrege. 

Barbara Waldrip was born the same year the first Barbie dolls came out.

"My father's sister had a store in Pennsylvania where she hand–sewed Barbie doll clothes and that is what I got each year for Christmas gifts and birthday gifts," said Waldrip. 

Decades later, she is still playing with Barbie dolls. Only now, she is the one making the clothes. And Barbara knows how to dress these dolls in style.

"This is a Gibson Girl Bride. Of course, being from the south I had to have a southern belle, right?" said Waldrip......
