WENATCHEE — The Wenatchee Valley Museum & Cultural Center seeks submissions of art, crafts, needlework or other creative expressions by mothers, for an exhibition titled “By My Mother’s Hands.” Works of all genres by mothers or grandmothers of North Central Washington residents will be considered for inclusion. The display opens in the Main Gallery Aug. 7, and continues through Oct. 10 as a prelude to “Women’s Votes, Women’s Voices,” the Washington State Historical Society’s celebration of the centennial of women’s suffrage in Washington that will arrive at the Wenatchee Valley Museum Oct. 24.
