Every picture tells a story, so what should they say in a scrapbook?  Should they only show the smiling faces, or should they show every aspect of life?  Keep in mind that not all pictures in scrapbooking have to include someone smiling and looking at the camera.

Some of the best pictures are those where people are not staring at the camera.  These pictures show personality, interests, favorite things, and fun.  Sometimes it is best to have the subject doing something else: walking on a beach, crying for attention, playing a game or just being themselves.

Don't forget to document the things that make life interesting and full.   Entire scrapbooks can be devoted to showing different sides of you, your family or friends.
