You can win this beautiful queen-sized appliquéd quilt by Susan Johns. This raffle is an annual fundraising activity for Daishu-In West, a small temple belonging to the Rinzai lineage of Zen Buddhism, located in the hills of Benbow. The temple was founded in 1994 by Soko Morinaga Roshi, the abbot of Daishu-In, which is in Kyoto, Japan. Two of his disciples, Shaku Daijo and Ursula Jarand, built the temple 15 years ago and are now leading the daily practice. Tickets are $5 each, or five for $20. Tickets can be purchased by mailing payment to Daishu-In West, P.O. Box 716, Garberville, CA 95542. The raffle will be held in September.
