Glass beads were once exchanged as currency – and Jacquelyn Rice of Boonville wishes that was still the case. “We’d be the millionaires in town,” said Rice, who owns C.N.Y. Glass Studio with her husband, Christopher.Indeed, their gallery is filled with all manner of glass beads and baubles strung from cords; hanging Christmas ornaments, marbles and more. In their studio in the back, the Rices use torches to carefully shape and manipulate the molten glass from which all those beads and other items are formed......
