Quilt Guild Speakers

The Estes Valley Quilt Guild meets the second Wednesday of each month at Good Samaritan Village, 1901 Ptarmigan Trail. Arrive at 6:30 p.m. for social time. The meeting begins and 7 p.m. Visitors are welcome, however, the guild requests a $5 donation to help cover the costs for speakers.

On Sept. 9, Clare Rutila and Linda Carson will present "Perspectives from Two Quilters." Join Rutila and Carlson from Cabin Quilts and Stitches in Grand Lake as they share how design, color, thread, fabric, appliqué, borders and quilting can make a simple pattern turn into to a "unique" quilt. The simple quilt pattern that Rutila and Carlson chose for this presentation is the "Irish Chain." They will present the quilts that they created from this pattern.....
