S.Enkhsaruul is puppet craft’s teacher of the Industrial School named after R.Gandi. She makes the puppet with Mongolian national clothes by wood.

- How many years are you making a doll?

I have been making the puppet during many years. At first, I started to make the handicrafts when I entered in Industrial School in 1996. My parents supported me when I was studying handicraft.

- Do you make the wood puppet with only Mongolian traditional clothes? And, do you give for foreigners?

No, I make puppets with various clothes. Foreigners got to interest the puppets because of my puppets with Mongolian tradition; national clothes, fantastic garb and folk costumes are peculiar from other handicrafts. Sometimes, a foreigner subscribes to my handicrafts. Those are various by cost. I usually gift the works for people instead of sell.

- In before, did you organize any exhibition by own handiworks?

In last year, director of the Industrial School and me has been organizing exhibition in five cities of Italy. The  Italians are interested in my wood puppets, also they were interesting Mongolian national clothes. Especially, they were amazed by Mongolian nomadic culture and traditional clothes.

. -By your opinion, which is difficult to teach and to make the puppet?

Teaching is very difficult for me because of I must to teach and to understand every students and their ability. But, I’m very happy when I’m making the wood puppets. I think that “all things near to me are my happiness.”
