Childhood relived at museum dollhouse exhibit

From an historical perspective, the new Keller Gallery exhibit at the Wm. McKinley Presidential Library & Museum is just a smaller version of the way we were.
“Life in Miniature” is a scaled-down Victorian era. It’s a little colonial period. The exhibit is an itty-bitty view of the way it was when settlers came to Stark County and even a little look at how we are today.
The way we lived is portrayed through 22 dollhouses displayed in “Life in Miniature” — three from the museum’s collection and 19 on loan from museum members and visitors.
“We had some really nice dollhouses in the collection, and we always try to do something fun for the holidays, and dollhouses are fun.” said Kimberly Kenney, curator for the McKinley museum, who said the exhibit will be on display through Feb. 14.....
