Woman builds craft hobby into multimillion-dollar importing businesses

Cindy Lowry's multimillion-dollar importing business began as a craft hobby.

It began with dried floral arrangements and hanging gingerbread men.

Today, Blossom Bucket Inc. of North Lawrence, near Canton, is a $7 million wholesale operation with 4,000 holiday, seasonal and inspirational gift items, mostly made of resin that looks like wood.

Lowry's crafts have evolved into a business with 25 employees, automated ordering systems, a 50,000-square-foot warehouse and a new corporate customer she's sought for many years: Hallmark......
