“Yarnbombers” on the Loose in Denver
The fruit of some crafty crafters is turning up in Denver, Colorado in the middle of the night.
The "Yarnbombers" are members of the Ladies Fancywork Society, an anonymous, underground group of street artists.
They are known for their talents with crochet needles to create tree cozies, bike rack wraps, leg warmers and other art that they then "yarnbomb" in the city.
Recently the artists left crocheted legwarmers measuring seven feet by seven feet on a statue called "Dancers" outside the Denver Performing Arts Center.
