Although there's snow on the ground and holiday cheer in the air, the Sun Valley Center for the Arts is looking forward to summer and their very popular Arts & Crafts Festival.

The Center announced that applications are available now for the show.  They are due on Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010.

Local and returning artists are encouraged to apply for the Festival, to be held August 13 - 15 in Ketchum. Applications are available online at  http://www.zapplication.org or go to www.sunvalleycenter.org and follow the links.

The Center will once again offer tutorials for local artists to help them with the online application process. To schedule an appointment, call Sarah Kolash at 726-9491 ext. 21 or e-mail her at skolash@sunvalleycenter.org.

Now in its 42nd year, the Sun Valley Center Arts & Crafts Festival ranks as one of the top 100 outdoor juried festivals in the nation. More than 8,000 people attended the Festival last year in Atkinson Park, Ketchum.
