Esther Bryan's quilt is so woven with symbolism, stories and threads of cultural diversity, it's difficult to know how and where to begin describing it.

It's no ordinary quilt, that's for sure.

The colourful piece of textile art is a massive 36 metres long (120 feet) and 3.5 metres high (10.5 feet). Its 263 "blocks" represent something of every nation in the world (as of its creation at the turn of the millennium), including all the First Peoples in Canada on its "foundation" row.......
