Locks Of Pizazz! Brings Elegant Jewelry to Your Hair

PRESS RELEASE

Wantage, NJ - January 30, 2010 -- Adding elegant accessories to your daily style is easier than you may think. While many women would think to add a necklace, bracelet or brooch to their outfit, creative women add jewelry to their hair.

Founded by Emily Bittner in January of 2008, Locks Of Pizazz! is a company that creates artisan hair jewelry and accessories. Bittner’s original mission was to fill a void that she saw in the marketplace. Her goal was to create pretty and original ‘hairwear”, such as ponytail holders and barrettes with more ‘pizazz’ than the usual drugstore variety.

Bittner designs her pieces with polymer clay and then adds embellishments, such as vintage buttons or rhinestones. When asked about her favorite parts of her business, Bittner says “For me, There’s a lot of trial and error in the creative process. It starts with a vision. When what I create comes out the way I envisioned, it is very rewarding. When it doesn’t, I wind up somewhere different…yet that is usually interesting too. The process of discovery with this medium is so fulfilling for me.”

Locks of Pizazz! offers stylish hair jewelry retail and wholesale. Collections such as ‘Collette’ include French inspired damask bobby pins adorned with vintage rhinestones-great for shorter styles. Calla lily hair chopsticks so perfect for updos are part of the Dahlia Series. For trendier customers there is the Urban Safari line- beautiful pieces comprised of wild animal prints.

About Locks Of Pizazz!:
Locks Of Pizazz! was founded by Emily Bittner in January of 2008. Bittner appreciates good design and finds that her pieces appeal to a wide demographic of women. She sees her line of accessories as an easy way to add a no-fuss, original fashion statement to any wardrobe. “Many women today are so time crunched they forego the final step of dressing -adding accessories. As a mom of twin toddler girls, Bittner can relate. “I for one am usually reaching for a simple pair of studs while running out the door. In the car, I just grab the barrette with bling out of my purse, put it in ..and voila!”

As she says “You’re getting dressed anyway… wear it with Pizazz!”
