The Cross Creek Arts Festival set for Saturday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. may well prove to be an event not to be missed.

Under the direction of Mitch Cohen, founder and coordinator of the First Saturday Arts Market in the Heights, Houston’s only and longest running monthly outdoor fine arts event now in its sixth year, this event at Cross Creek Ranch will offer the original works of up to 70 professional and emerging fine artists from across Texas. No reproduced or manufactured pieces are allowed.

Cammie’s Homemade Soaps
A soap maker will have her wares for sale on April 20. Made from all natural goat’s milk, Cammie’s Homemade soaps are made using cocoa butter or shea butter, along with high quality oils such as coconut, olive, palm, sunflower, sweet almond and jojoba. She chooses natural essential oils or high quality fragrance oils for scent and herbs and spices for texture and color in the soaps. Cammie individually designs each bar. Some of the available soaps have fragrances of lemon grass, fresh linen, vanilla, herbal sea moss, lavender, spearmint, lavender oatmeal and honey suckle.......
