Chadron Festival of Quilts Starts April 23

Chadron’s Festival of Quilts held its first several shows at the Chadron Arts Center, before moving to its current location at Assumption Arena. The Pine Ridge Quilters Guild, which sponsors the Festival of Quilts, encourages the community to support the Chadron Arts Center and its current fundraising efforts towards a new roof and handicapped accessible parking and entry ways.
Committee Chairperson, Charlotte Kriz (left) sold the first raffle ticket to Jane Druecker, Chadron Arts Center Board Member (right). This beautiful, handmade quilt, known as ‘Monkey Wrench’ was pieced by members of the Pine Ridge Quilters Guild and quilted by Whitney Tewahade of TaDa Art Studio for this year’s Festival theme of Civil War Era Quilts.....
